An EVMO is a centralized function that governs vendor performance, contracts, spend and risk across your whole supplier estate. Procurement sources and negotiates deals.

An EVMO governs what happens after signature, where most value is won or lost. If you run a large, complex portfolio without a single view of supplier performance and risk, the two functions complement each other rather than overlap.

SRM governs the relationship: performance, risk, value and day-to-day management of the supplier. CLM governs the contract itself: obligations, renewals and compliance across the agreement's life.
